This was drawn in my sketch book for class quite some time ago and it's the first time I felt comfortable using pen and ink as a medium. Now that I look at it again I'd like to go in and rework the shadows into a real deep black to add some dimension to the background.Wednesday, June 13, 2007

This sketch could have more absolutes, I agree, more white whites and more black blacks. although, this is a realistic drawing. It is such due to the detail you put into it. It is also tricky to put lettering into a drawing, especially is the sign is deformed as it is here. You had a valiant and fairly successful attempt here, I would like to see more lettering interpretations from you.
