The scene is just outside my front door and a friend looking through my sketchbooks noted that these corner posts show up often in the background of other sketches. Trees and Fences

The sky is beautiful, the way you layered it with the colors of change creates movement in the sky, which is realistic of nature. I think that was a really good move to layer it like that. The trees have nice color and shade to them. The foreground is really well done, you can definetly tell that this was drawn during the dry season in Nor Cal. The actual small surprise I had while enjoying this drawing is the slight use of the redish hue on the smaller fence posts. Very subtle, I didn't notice it right away, but now that I have, it is a really nice punch to the green/brown/yellow tones you have established in the rest of the sketch.
